Chicago
Written by Kevin on June 29, 2008 – 1:36 pm -I went to downtown Chicago yesterday. I took my first train ride when we took the train from Libertyville to Union Station. Then we went to Giordano’s Pizzaria. They are supposed to have really good pizza. Mommy and Daddy liked it, but I didn’t get any. Then I took my first boat ride. We took a boat on the Chicago River to Navy Pier where Mommy and Daddy, Aunt Priscilla and Uncle Steve, and Erin, Manny, Anna, Ben, Nicole and Luke and I walked around. I don’t remember it because I slept the whole time in my stroller. Then we walked up Michigan Ave. to the Water Tower Mall and then all the way back to Union Station. Daddy pushed me the whole way! He did a good job. Then we took the train back to Libertyville. It was a fun day. I took a long nap and everybody enjoyed being outside. Here’s a picture of me looking out the window of the train:

Rolling Over
Written by Kevin on June 27, 2008 – 9:45 am -I learned a new trick! I can roll over from my tummy to my back. I was 4 1/2 months old. One day Mommy laid me down for a nap on Daddy and Mommy’s bed. A little later she came to check on me and I was on my back! But she couldn’t get me to roll over again. A week later, I was home with Daddy and he was watching TV while I napped beside him on the bed. When I woke up, I rolled over. He grabbed his cell phone and flipped me back over on my tummy and took this video of me rolling over to show everybody. (Taken May 21st, 2008)
And since I’m a “squirmy-wormy” (as Daddy likes to call me), most mornings I end up like this when I wake up:

Six Months Old And Back In Cyberspace
Written by Kevin on June 27, 2008 – 9:12 am -Wow! I turned 6 months old yesterday! Sorry I haven’t blogged or updated my website in a while. There’s lots to do when you are six months old, like learning to eat solid food, learning to roll over and staying cute! I’ve got lots to tell you about and I’ll catch you up in future posts. Daddy did a complete redesign of my website and blog. It will make it easier for me to post things and Mommy will be able to help me now. I hope you like it!
Right now I am getting ready for a trip to Libertyville to see my Uncle Steve, Aunt Priscilla and my cousins, Erin, Anna, Ben and Luke. Plus Ben’s girlfriend, Nicole, is going up with us. We are going mini-golfing tonight (I wonder if Daddy will let me swing the putter?) and then to downtown Chicago and Navy Pier tomorrow. I will try to get Mommy and Daddy to take lots of pictures! And maybe I can write a blog post when we are up there.
Thanks again for reading!
